- VibroPower incorporation; sited at a 6,000 sq ft facility in Kallang Way.
- Appointed vendor for the supply and installation of gensets by China Telecom (Shunde), Jurong Town Corporation (Singapore) and Kobe Island Centre Port (Japan).
- Preferred choice in diesel generator sets by manufacturers of rubber‑tyre gantry cranes in Japan.
- First military contract with the Singapore Armed Forces for the supply of 1,700 × 28V portable gensets.
- Obtained approved vendor status from the Department of Electrical Services, Brunei.
- Initial foray into the Brunei market with the supply of six 1500 kVA sound‑proof gensets to the Ministry of Finance.
- Obtained ISO 9002 QA certification in August 1998.
- Expansion of distribution footprint with the supply of eight RTGC gensets to Eden port in Yemen and 19 RTGC gensets to River Trade Terminal in Hong Kong.
- Registration with CIDB for the supply of mechanical equipment, plant and machinery.
- Expansion into our new 38,000 sq ft factory.
- Penetration into the USA with the supply of 1,500 EPA emission‑standards compliant portable gensets.
- VibroPower Corporation Limited — the first homegrown manufacturer and supplier of generators — listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
- Incorporation of VibroPower (China) Pte Ltd to cater to the rising generator demand in China.
- Continued growth in regional distribution capabilities with the supply of gensets to Middle Eastern countries, through the newly acquired Indamex Ltd in UK.
- Incorporation of VP Power Sdn Bhd in Malaysia and setting up our 2nd manufacturing & assembly facilities.
- Entered into an agreement with Volvo Penta to take over the generator set assembly and distribution business in Malaysia of the Swedish multinational.
- Incorporation of VibroPower (India) Pvt Ltd to tap on the need for uninterrupted power supplies in India.
- Achieved record‑breaking sales of S$85.1 million.
- Wholly owned UK subsidiary Indamex Ltd wins the prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise — an accolade for business success and exceptional growth from the Queen of England.
- Acquired the remaining stake in Indian subsidiary VibroPower (India) Pvt Ltd, in line with the strategic objective to tap the growing demand for gensets in India.
- VibroPower enters Russia with the support of IE Singapore, to capitalise on the increasing demand for gensets.
- VibroPower extends reach into the African continent with the supply of gensets to Nigeria — leveraging on the need for continuous power supplies.

Founded and led by Chief Executive Officer Mr Benedict Chen, VibroPower is publicly listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX Mainboard) and has grown into one of Asia's most trusted names in reliable power generation.

The Custom Power Specialist
VibroPower was founded with one clear purpose — to build generator sets that standard catalogue products simply cannot deliver. From a single workshop in Singapore we have grown into a trusted genset manufacturer with direct presence in 8 countries across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Today we design, manufacture and test diesel generator sets in‑house, integrating engines and alternators from the world's leading manufacturers into packages tailored to each customer's exact power, duty and environmental requirements.

Benedict Chen Onn Meng
Chief Executive OfficerMr Chen is one of the founders and has been with the Group since 1995. He was appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Group on 22 August 2000. Mr Chen is responsible for leading the development and execution of the Group's short and long‑term strategies and business plans.
Mr Chen has a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Singapore Polytechnic.
Tan Poh Chye Allan
Independent Non‑Executive ChairmanMr Tan was appointed as an Independent and Non‑Executive Director on 12 November 2020. He is the Chairman of the Nominating Committee and a member of the Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee. With effect from 9 April 2025, he has also been appointed as Chairman of the Board.
Mr Tan is a lawyer and practises in the field of corporate finance, regulatory and compliance laws. He is also an Independent and Non‑Executive Director of Don Agro International Limited and Ecowise Holdings Limited.
Mr Tan holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of Buckingham (United Kingdom) and a Master's degree in Law from the London‑Guildhall University (now named as the London Metropolitan University). He is also a Barrister‑at‑law of Gray's Inn.
Koh Kew Siong Douglas
Independent and Non‑Executive DirectorMr Koh was appointed as an Independent and Non‑Executive Director on 31 October 2025. He is the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit Committee and Nominating Committee.
Mr Koh was a practising lawyer for more than 20 years specialising in equity capital markets and corporate governance. His former firms include Virtus Law LLP, CNPLaw LLP (formerly known as Colin Ng & Partners LLP), Harry Elias Partnership LLP and Drew & Napier LLC.
He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1992 with a Bachelor of Laws and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1993.
Lok Pei San (Lu Peishan)
Independent and Non‑Executive DirectorMs Lok was appointed as an Independent and Non‑Executive Director on 1 April 2025. She is the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit Committee and Nominating Committee.
Ms Lok has strong financial and accounting literacy. She is also a Chief Financial Officer of Bromat Holdings Ltd.
Ms Lok is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and an Accredited Director with the Singapore Institute of Directors.
